God our Father, We praise, glorify, and adore you. We thank you for choosing us to be your special children in Jesus Christ, through Baptism. We are also grateful for your continued protection which has greatly contributed to our resolve to remain strongly rooted in faith under your providential care.

The Sacraments, especially the Eucharist, instituted by Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Word of God, have been our strong force in the battle against the evil one, and have helped us to remain on the right path towards our heavenly home. As we celebrate 25 years since our Diocese of Lugazi was inaugurated, we pray that you may continue to guide us to always seek your will, by being fully committed to serving you alone.

We ask you to send us your Holy Spirit to help us to live a good Sacramental life and to always reflect on the Word of God, so that, under the guidance and intercession of our Mother Mary and St. Pontian Ngondwe our Patron Saint, we may gain the necessary strength, to march on, with our eyes closely fixed on your Holy Mountain, the New Jerusalem, of the Heavenly Kingdom.
